About

About Me

I’m a Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for building and observing large-scale infrastructure on the internet. But that’s just my day job – albeit one I thoroughly enjoy!

Family First

Above all, I’m a devoted father and family man. My family grounds me and reminds me why we build these systems in the first place – to make the world a little better, a little more efficient, and a little more interesting for the next generation.

The Technical Side

I find deep satisfaction in solving complex problems, whether they involve infrastructure architecture, mathematical puzzles, or physics conundrums. There’s something magical about the way these disciplines interweave – the elegant patterns in geometry reflecting in system design, the physics principles manifesting in distributed systems, and the mathematical beauty underlying it all.

The Creative Side

When I’m not immersed in technical documentation (which, honestly, I find as engaging as a good novel), you’ll find me exploring the worlds of science fiction or crafting poetry. I believe there’s a unique parallel between writing code and writing verse – both require precision, creativity, and an eye for pattern and structure.

Documentation as Craft

One of my peculiar passions is technical documentation. I view it as an art form – the challenge of distilling complex systems into clear, accessible knowledge is something I genuinely enjoy. It’s like being a translator between the machine world and human understanding.

Professional Journey

My career in Site Reliability Engineering has been an exciting journey through the gaming industry, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting the development and operation of numerous titles. You can check out my complete portfolio of shipped titles or learn more about my professional experience on my resume.

Let’s Connect

I’m always eager to discuss infrastructure, share poetry about distributed systems, or swap stories about the latest sci-fi novel. Feel free to reach out via email or connect with me on LinkedIn.
